Memories Not Perfect Pictures

I can be critical of pictures I take. I always feel that they aren't that great, the lighting is off, the composition could be better, sometimes they are a little out of focus! I find it especially hard to take good pictures of my daughters who never seem to sit still long enough for me to take a picture and even if they are still I can never get them to look at the camera. I thought that at first about the pictures below, that they weren't worth scrapbooking but after a second look I realized that although you can't see her face in the pictures I can see the squeal of laughter she let out as the sheep was checking her out, I can see the big smile I know was there, I can see the fun we had that day. That's the thing about pictures sometimes, they don't have to be perfect they just have to capture a memory to make them great.

  1. So true. One of my favorite pictures of me when I was a baby is out of focus and the color is off, but it is my Dad holding me close to his chest while camping. You can't even see my face! It's all about how it makes you feel!
